Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) is a public organization founded in 2009 under the Development of Environmental Technology and Support for Environmental Industry Act. Our mission is to contribute to improving the quality of life and advancing the national economy.

Our Mission
KEITI was established to drive the development of environmental technologies, foster the green industry, and promote eco-friendly lifestyles. As a public organization, we undertake various projects, including ESG management support, international environmental cooperation, support for environmental companies, green clusters, environmental R&D, eco-labeling, green consumption, sustainable consumption and production, and environmental safety and health.

What We Do
In order to contribute to fulfilling the national policy objective and to positioning South Korea as one of the global leaders in terms of green growth:

• KEITI takes the leading role as a key player in opposing the carbon trade tariff to support the company's ESG strategy and management, by reforming the Environmental Information Disclosure Program, fostering green finance aligned with the K-Taxonomy, and enforcing the Environmental Production Declaration.
• KEITI offers information, consulting services, and financial and commercialization support to domestic companies with outstanding environmental technologies and to outstanding environmental companies for successful overseas expansion.
• KEITI provides technology and policy information, financial support, and HR support to foster companies in the environmental industry.
• By establishing Green Cluster, designed to commercialize prospective environmental technologies and promote international expansion of these technologies, KEITI offers one-stop solutions to domestic environmental companies.
• KEITI leads the way to make a sustainable society through environmental certification and green consumption.
• KEITI is responsible for systems, events and projects to spread the culture of green consumption.
• KEITI manages the safety of household chemicals and evaluates their risks so that these chemicals can be safely used.

With our ongoing support, member companies are exporting their products to various countries, including the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, the EU, Indonesia, etc. Our team of over 300 employees, including more than 100 R&D personnel and 100 engineers, is dedicated to helping partner companies establish export capabilities and environmentally conscious business foundations.
